At The Velvet Fox, hospitality runs in our blood. Sisters Chelsie and Kelsey (yes, their mom really did name them that) are fifth-generation women business owners — and the fourth generation to make their mark in the entertainment and hospitality world. Together with a small circle of family partners and carefully chosen team members, we’re carrying forward that legacy of care, creativity, and connection right here in the Fox Valley.
We created The Velvet Fox to be more than a venue — it’s a space where everyone belongs. Our mission is to build a safe, inclusive, and affordable home for celebration, creativity, and community. From drag brunches and live music to book readings, art nights, and holiday gatherings, we’re here to fill the gaps in local entertainment and bring people together across generations and backgrounds.
